Tofino is located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. We live on a penninsula surrounded by pristine sandy beaches, deep silent coves, temperate rainforests and limitless views of snow capped mountains. It is an awe-inspiring, rugged, profoundly beautiful place.
"...I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which came to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which came to me as blossom, goes on as fruit." -Dawna Markova

April Woods, RYT
April Woods is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level, and has been trained in the Hatha, Ashtanga, and Yin methods. After attending her first yoga class she became instantly compelled and inspired by the practice, and after six years of personal exploration she was drawn toward teaching as a way to deepen her studies while enabling her to share her discoveries with others. Growing up in the wilds of Clayoquot Sound, April always felt a strong connection to the earth. The practice of yoga has drawn her even more deeply into the interconnectedness of the universe, and brought her in touch with the vastness around her and within herself, it is this experience of connection that she most wants to impart through her teaching. She is thrilled to have found such a content, joyful way of living and finds new inspiration through her daily journey of being both a teacher of yoga as well as a student.

"Out beyond ideas of right and wrong doing there is a field. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about ideas, language, even the phrase each other doesn't make any sense." -Rumi
